Working With Algebraic Expressions
There are three things you can do with Algebraic Expressions. If there are only numbers & operations you use Order of Operations to simplify. If there are variables and values given for the variables - you can evaluate the expressions. If there are variables but no values for the variables then you can simplify the expressions using the distributive property and combining like terms. This challenge board activity has you practice all three types of problems. There are some trick questions too! Please note that "*" is a multiplication symbol and "^" indicates an exponent. Also "/" is a division symbol. Good Luck
