DOL: ANALOGIES w/JEOPARDY (practice only)
(Thanks to Super Teacher Worksheets) Analogies are comparisons of two or more similar objects; an analogy implies that since these objects are alike in some ways, they will probably be alike in other ways as well. EXAMPLE: Shoe IS TO foot AS hat IS TO head Analogies are written with the following symbols... : means (is to) and : : means (as) ANALOGY JEOPARDY is a practice exercise only. There is no grade--it's ONLY for practice. You should, however, still try your best in this adventure! Feel free to challenge folks at house and friends as well! :-) NOTE: I've tried to give you the first letter of the word. To get full credit, you must type the ENTIRE word exactly. in other words, SPELLING COUNTS!!!
