Verbos -ir en pretérito.

Los verbos -ir que son irregulares en presente, son irregulares en el pretérito pero son irregulares en la tercera persona (él, ella, ellos y ellas) y también en la segunda persona (usted y ustedes, solamente).
Remember that usted needs the same form as él and ella, and ustedes need the form of ellos. Usted and ustedes are not third person, but they only use the form of the third person. Watch out! There is a match that does not have a subject pronoun and a verb, but a definite article and a noun.
