Kapitel 3 - Modal Verbs and their Dependent Infinitives (CMR)

At the beginning of each sentence, you are given a modal infinitive, such as "einen Pullover stricken wollen" -- to want to knit a sweater. In this example, the modal is "wollen" and the infinitive is "stricken." Put the modal as the V1 (conjugated verb) into each sentence, and put the dependent infinitive into the V2 position. The rest of the sentence is written for you. Remember, V1 is conjugated, but in modal usage the dependent infinitive stays in the infinitive form.
