23. Deep-Ocean Currents are Caused by Temperature (C105.2)
Not all ocean currents are caused by wind. Deep-ocean currents are caused by difference in water temperature. Cold water is heavier than warm water, so it sinks. The cold water then flows along the bottom of the ocean.
