As you can see, there are many ways for students to earn AR points. Three of these ways will be monitored by me at school, but I need your help in encouraging your child to read at home. Besides making reading a part of their daily routine, ask them questions about the book they are reading and read along if you have time. There are some great children’s books out there! The purpose of AR in our reading curriculum is to develop stronger readers and daily practice is essential. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
