Friday Free Time:
Each Friday, an extra recess is given to students who have made good choices in the areas of work and behavior during the week. Students receive a strike each time they hand in late homework or do not follow school behavior rules. If the student earns more than 3 strikes in one week, he/she loses Friday Free Time that week. Please read the additional explanations below.

Late Work:
Assignments that are handed in late will be lowered one letter grade. If the assignment is not completed within two weeks of the due date, the student will receive a zero.

Special Circumstances:
If illness or misunderstanding of an assignment keeps your child from completing homework, please send a note explaining the situation. If a note is sent, the student will receive an extra day to complete the assignment.

Behavior:
Students will receive a verbal warning for most inappropriate behaviors. If the behavior continues, a strike will be issued. If I judge the behavior to be more serious, a strike will be given immediately.
