Subject: 	Algebra This Week (12/13)

Dear Algebra Parents:

We started a new unit on the absolute value function last Friday and 
will be working on it all this week. I plan to have the unit test next
 Monday. I am considering making it a take home exam. This unit is
 fairly short, so we may not have any quizzes. As always, the
 assignments are posted on the homework hotline at
 http://www.quia.com/pages/bhsbrownalg1.html.

The unit test for "writing equations" (Chapter 5), that we took last
 week, is graded, but I have one more student who needs to take it.
 When she has taken it, I will hand back the graded tests to the other
 students.
