2012 AFTER SCHOOL BATON TWIRLING PROGRAM

McGinnis, Plano MS girls p.e. teacher, will be conducting an after school baton
twirling program. Please be aware
that students must follow the school eligibility requirements to participate. Practice dates scheduled per week are:

The school
has 38 batons that can be borrowed by the participants. Any lost or damaged batons must be
replaced by the student. The cost of
a baton, if you would like to purchase, is mentioned below.
In the event
a student would like to purchase her own baton, the cost will be 50% off the
regular price of batons, plus shipping and handling. Each baton will cost $18.00 ($12.00 per baton and $6.00 for
shipping and handling.) It usually
takes less than one week to order and receive a baton. Please make checks payable to Plano Middle School for the purchase of
batons.
The school
will provide a performing shirt, the participant must provide tennis shoes and
black, long pants.
Please sign
and return the attached permission slip and turn in to Mrs. McGinnis by the
first practice.

SCHOOL. I RELEASE AND HOLD
HARMLESS THE TEACHER AND/OR SCHOOL FROM ANY ACCIDENT OR INJURY INCURRED DURING
THIS ACTIVITY.
I also understand that I need to be at
school, no later than each
practiceÕs ending time, in order that my child safely makes it home and so that
the teacher can be on time for her own appointments; students are welcome to
ride the activity bus at 4:15pm as well.
