| ROM | Read Only Memory. Permanent memory in the computer. |
| RAM | Random Access Memory. Temporary memory in the computer. Erases after the computer is turned off. |
| Tower Case | this holds all the inside parts of the computer and protects them |
| Motherboard | this is where the modem, video and sound card is attached |
