| Reproduction | Organisms making more of their own kind. Ex. a fox gives birth to kits. |
| Secretion | Useful chemicals that living things make and give off. Ex. Saliva |
| Cells | All living things are made of these. these allow living things to carry out the life processes. |
| Energy | Required to be able to do the 8 life processes. |
| Life processes | 8 processes that all living things do. Ex. movement, growth, response, ingestion, respiration, excretion, secretion, reproduction |
