| Align | Line up graphic objects along their top and bottom edges. |

| Copy | The command that copies items onto the clipboard |
| Dialog Box | This window appears to ask if you need help with something |
| Drawing Toolbar | The toolbar to the immediate left of the slide work area; contains tool, text tools, etc. |
| Edit- Undo | Allows you to cancel the last keystroke |
| Exit | Menu command to leave the PP program |
| Grabbar Handles | small boxes around an item of a graphic |
| Graph or Chart | A PP feature that allows you to type data into a spreadsheet and specify this item to allow you to choose from the wizard |
| I-Beam | Shape of your cursor when you are typing in a field of text. |
| Justify | allows you to place text in a straight line both at the left and right margins |
| Left Align | Marker arranges text to form a straight left margin |
| Line Color | Button on the drawing toolbar that allows you to specify a certain color. |
| Menu Bar | Top horizontal bar features words like: View, Edit, File |
| New Slide | Button that allows you to create a new slide |
| Point Size | The size of the letters you type |
| Organization Chart | A feature that lets you create this type of chart and insert it into a PP slide |
| Right Align | Marker arranges text to form a straight right margin |
| Save | To preserve your presentation in file format |
| Slide Show | This plays your finished work so you can check for timing or other things |
| Style | The way the font looks: italic, bold, etc. |
| Template | This lets you choose the overall design of your presentation |
| Menu | The palette of tools that are available to use. |
