platforma party's formal written statement of its principles, policies, and goals
partisanbelonging to or strongly loyal to a particular political party
progressivefavoring political or social reform
Reform Partyan alternative party concerned with limiting trade and immigration
righta conservative or reactionary position
right wingthe more conservative or reactionary section of a political party
soft moneycontributions to parties, not candidates, without limits for unions or corporations
