Preparation for GCSE Reading and Listening - Activity 3

This is the last in a sequence of three activities.

To do well at GCSE you will need to know a wide range of synonyms (different ways of saying the same thing). Quite often examiners design questions with one word or phrase in the text and another with the same meaning in the question.

Play the games, print the 'List of Terms' and read them through before the exam. Don't be fooled by questions designed in this way.
