Estar with -ing Verbs
Estar means "to be" and is used for location, temporary conditions, temporary feelings, and as a helping verb with -ing verbs. To form -ing verbs, drop the infinitive endings and add -ando for ar verbs, -iendo for er/ir verbs, and DON'T forget the rule that 3 vowels cannot go together unless the middle i is accented. In the case that you have 3 vowels, change the middle unaccented i to y. Like leyendo, not leiendo.
