WEEK of May 26 - The last week of school! I can't believe it!

RELIGION:

MATH: We will be reviewing, going over a few key geometry concepts, & doing Accelerated Math. Students should still be practicing multiplication facts nightly if they are not mastered. They may use flashcards or click on the websites below (Useful Links) to practice on the computer. Some students may need to practice writing them. See last website noted for printing time tests at home. Another useful link is the "Harcourt" link from our new math series (Useful Links).

SCIENCE: Electricity & Magnetism Labs

A/R - ACCELERATED READER: A/R deadline Friday, May 22nd. Remember to use the computer to check your child's status for A/R. Students should be reading at home. A/R books should be brought to school daily & then brought home to read at night. All students shoud be involved in a book right now! We will no longer be printing TOPS Reports after students take quizzes. You are now able to view everything online.

SPELLING: No Spelling this week

SCHOLASTIC: No Scholastic due

DAILY GRAMS: Daily Gram 60 & 61 - We will do in class

JOURNAL: Journal is due this week. Students will be asked to write a "hamburger" paragraph in response to the prompt below. The final draft is due Friday. Please encourage your child to always go through the proper "writing process" which includes a rough draft! Proper heading required.

PROMPT: What was your favorite part of 4th Grade? We will write this in class.

TUESDAY FOLDERS: Tuesday folders will go home Thursday 5/28 so I can get all work in them. Folders will go home every Tuesday with student corrected work. Please review & save the work. Sign/date the folder & return Wed.

P.E.: We have P.E. on Mondays & Wednesdays. Students should bring P.E. uniforms in a small bag that will fit in their backpacks. Please label all school uniforms with names. REMEMBER WED. IS A MASS DAY - WHITE SHIRTS REQUIRED!
