5th grade social studies covers American History. We will begin with early peoples of the western hemisphere. Then our book takes us to early explorers like Christopher Columbus, Hernando Cortes, and Ponce de Leon.
The lessons each day will contain a reading in the text, usually a set of notes, and a workbook page.
At the end of each chapter there will be a study guide that will help the students study for the test.
