Week of November 16, 2009 On Monday, November 16, three monarch larvae will be sent into space aboard the shuttle enroute to the International Space Station. Their development will be monitored and tracked. We have been sent an additional six larvae by Monarch Watch so that we can simulate this experience. We will be making our own observations and recordings and comparing ours with those of NASA. We are so excited to be part of this unique experience. Thanks also to Packer Engineering for a fantastic presentation on flight and air pressure this week.
