2. Whether specifically assigned or not, students are responsible for each Math chapter covered in class. Be sure to read the entire chapter.
3. MORNING WORK is assigned M-Th. It is to be done each day in class and all are due on Fridays. This is not homework and will not be included on the homework board. Students have from 7:50-8:05 daily to work on Morning Work and throughout the day when finished with other classwork.

Parent Information
1. Classroom office hours for parent meetings are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:15-4:15pm. This allows for a meeting from 3:15-3:45 and another from 3:45-4:15. Both 6th Grade teachers will be at each meeting. Please email all meeting requests.
2. Many parent questions or interactions do not require a formal meeting. If you have a short question or two, feel free to email it and/or request a phone call. Calls and email responses can be done during prep periods or right after school.
3. Grades will be posted to Churchwerks weekly, by Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Please remember that tests, essays, and projects may take more than a few days to grade.
4. Please continue to encourage independence for your student. 6th Grade is usually considered a transitional year and our goal is to ensure that your student is ready for junior high. Remind your student to come to class prepared, turn in all assignments on the due date, and to ask for help. We are here to help all your children - they need only ask.
.** Please remember to check student planners for the most up-to-date information.
