Religion
Monday: Check Chapter 4 Review, both essays on looseleaf (#9-10 page 49 is the first; "No God, Know Fear. Know God, No Fear." is the second). Prepare study card after evaluating retreat.
Tuesday: TEST on Chapter 4. Visions or AR book required reading afterwards.
Wednesday: God's iPod (CD, lyrics, paragraph analysis) will NOT be this week to allow gospel discussion from Visions and goal-setting on stones/rock (retreat)
Thursday: Chapel and verse (rock).
Friday: No school today due to parent/teacher conferences. Enjoy Halloween safely and bring in some candy for troops. Work on service hours and attend church with your family and friends.

Monday: Check Thursday's assignments, which were: Classwork, orally do page 133, #55-72. Homework: Read Lesson 3-3 and go to Brain Pop and Strategies on pre-alg.com. Also, Extra Practice on page 765, Lessons 3-1 and 3-2, due MONDAY. Teach Substraction and Addition Properties of Equality, pages 136-7. Homework: page 139, #9-27, 43, and 44
Tuesday: Check homework for understanding and accuracy. Classwork: Spiral Review, page 140, #45-56. Teach Solving Equations by Multiplying or Dividing, pages 141-143. Homework: page 144, #9-39, odd, 40-43
Wednesday: Check homework for understanding and accuracy. Classwork: Exchange rate discussion (#48), then do #49-64. Bonus problem: 2/3x = 60. There are multiple methods for solving. Be prepared to put your solution on the whiteboard for the class.
Thursday: Mid-Chapter Quiz, page 146, #1-16. Will be collected, graded for completion, neatness, accuracy, and counted as a quiz. Worksheet due MONDAY.
Friday: No class due to parent/teacher conferences. Worksheet given yesterday is due on Monday.

Monday: Classwork: Check Chapter 4 Review and prepare essay, study card. Finish work on your Pumpkin Saint.
Tuesday: TEST on Chapter 4. Bring in your pumpkin saint, no carving, decorated with paint, glue-ons, fabric, and props. I have your research paragraph to add to the oral presentation and display.
Wednesday: God's iPod (CD, lyrics, paragraph) will NOT be this week, so we can learn more about our Pumpkin Saints.
Thursday: Chapel with Sr. Rose.
Friday: Enjoy Halloween! Continue doing service for others. Attend worship with your family and friends. Be ready to worship on All Saints Day when school resumes.

Monday: Check homework ( Do pg. 132 #20-51. Read pages 136-139 and take notes on Key Concepts/Study Tip). Classwork: Spiral Review, page 133, #62-72. Copy Bonus Problem on board (combining terms with exponents and like variables). Be ready to discuss and display for the class. Teach Solving Equations by Adding and Subtracting (balancing). Do Check Your Understanding, page 139, #1-25, for homework.
Tuesday: Check homework for accuracy, neatness, completion, and understanding. Classwork: page 139, #26-41. Discuss and review. Homework: page 140, Spiral Review, #43-56.
Wednesday: Check homework. Teach Solving Equations by Multiplying or Dividing, pages 141-143. Create Real World Problems based on reading pages of a book in one hour or serving ounces of apple cider to 12 people at a Halloween party. Total of 3 for classwork, ready to exchange. Homework: page 143-4, #1-25
Thursday: Share student-made problems as warm-up. Check homework. Classwork, #26-47. Homework, Spiral Review, page 145, #52-64. Due on Monday.
Friday: Happy Halloween! No class due to parent/teacher conferences.
