Tuesday, June 16th: Your final typed write up for your Rube Goldberg is due tomorrow.

Thursday, June 11th: Presentation write-up due Tuesday - be ready to present. Check your rubric for all the requirements.
Wednesday, June 10th: Final draft of both of your Simple Machines is due tomorrow.

Friday, May 22nd: Study the following:
Know types of Friction including sliding, rolling, and fluid and be able to apply these to real life situations.
Know Newton’s 3 Laws of Motion and be able to apply these to real life situations.
Know Forces including friction and gravitational and be able to apply these to real life situations.
Know Work and Power and how to calculate and be able to apply these to real life situations.
Know units commonly used for Science ie; Mass (kg), Forces, including weight (N), Distance (m), Time (s), Work (N-m or J), Power (J/sor W)
Monday, May 18th: Get your Permission Slip for the Bowling Trip signed with money. Complete BOTH sides of the Velocity, Work and Power worksheet by Wednesday.

Thursday, May 14th: Study for Friday's Quiz on Energy and the battery.
Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 13th: Complete all questions on Newton's Laws Stations finished in class.
Monday, May 11th: Watch Brainpop "Batteries" and complete handout. Be able to explain how a battery generates and conducts electricity.

Thursday, May 7th: Read Isaac Newton Goes Skiing pp 222-225.
-take notes, be sure to include real examples of each of Newton's 3 laws.
- answer the Question on p 225.
Wednesday, May 6th: Answer Analysis questions and write a Conclusion for your Egg Bungee Jump. Be sure to use your data when supporting your conclusion.
Tuesday, May 5th: Graph Data and write your hypothesis. Be sure to support your hypothesis by referring to the data.
Monday, May 4th: Read Bungee Jumping in your EMM book beginning at p 42. And answer the following questions.
1. Draw a bungee jumper doin’ his thing and label when he has Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy and back again, and again.
2. List everything you can think of that effects the bungee jumper when jumping.

Monday, April 27th: Get a good night's sleep and EAT Breakfast for the NJASK.

Friday, April 24th: Complete the ROWYD or Reflecting on What You've Done Questions from Inquiry 3 (the Rechargeable Battery Lab).
Thursday, April 23rd: Read "Batteries - Electricity to Go" in your EMM book and answer the questions at the end of the article.
Wednesday, April 22nd: Inquiry 2.1 "Making a Battery" complete the Reflecting on What You've Done questions at the end of the lab.
Tuesday, April 21st: Set up your lab notebook for the "Making a Battery" lab in your new EMM book. Include: Objectives, materials and answers to the Getting Started questions. Read the Procedure.
Monday, April 20th: Read "Electric Cars" pp30-32 and answer the questions.
1. Make a T-chart of the Pro’s and Con’s of these early Electric Cars.
2. When was this article written?
3. Check the internet, Top Gear, or magazines – what are the differences (improvements?) in today’s electric cars compared to these ‘originals’ from the early 1900’s.
