Important Dates For Term #4
Grade 7 Parents... An informational meeting for the Washington DC trip next year. I think the 8th grade teachers are trying to lock in prices before they jump.
Mid Term Progress Reports are May 16th.
May 16th... all school dance (7-9:30).
MCAS in May...
May 14th & 15th... Math MCAS. A scientific OR graphing calculator is needed. Make sure Mrs. Fanning gives yours a check to be sure your calculator is programmed with Order of Operations.
May 27th & 28th... Social Studies.
Contacting Our Team
Parents with questions or concerns can always contact our team via telephone (voice mail) or e-mail. We always check both several times daily and again before leaving school for the day. As a team, we are committed to returning all calls and responding to e-mail messages promptly. We believe that open communication between home and school is vital.
Parents wishing to schedule an individual teacher conference should contact the teacher directly to arrange a mutually convenient meeting time. Team conferences can also be arranged - the Green Team meets as a group every other day during period D [10:10 - 10:55 a.m.]

Homework Policy & Expectations
All students on The Green Team can expect homework to be assigned in each subject at least 3-4 nights per week.
All students are provided with an Agenda and it is essential that they use it consistently to keep themselves organized and prepared for EACH class they attend. All teachers on the Green Team post their daily homework assignments in their classroom, as well as, on their individual websites. There is a link to each teacher page listed in the Useful Links feature shown below. Be sure to check them out!
All homework assignments are expected the next day unless the teacher specifies otherwise. Make-up work for long term absences will be handled by the individual subject teacher.
Late Night Schedule
All of our 7th graders are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the late night sessions that are offered 3 days each week for extra help with homework/classwork questions or to make up work (classwork, labwork, homework, tests or quizzes) missed due to absence.
Our after school late sessions run from 2:10 - 3:00 p.m. each day and the schedule for this school year will be:

Mrs. Needle (English/Lang. Arts & Social Studies) - WEDNESDAY
Mr. Kelly & Mr. Bergquist (Social Studies and, Science) - - - - - - - - - -THURSDAY
If a student should find themselves with a double commitment for the same afternoon, the time can be shared between the 2 subject teachers.
Special Education Services
Students on the Green Team with Special Education Plans will be serviced and monitored this year by Ms. Cosman. Ms. Cosman can be reached by telephone here at the Middle School at 781-659-8814 Extension #4217.
