8th Grade Homework Language Arts/Religion June 1, 2009

We will have class from 8:30-9 Religion and 11-12:20 Language Arts everyday!
I will update this homework page every Sunday evening. I will try to post all tests/quizzes and any special projects as quarterly book reports and the speech contest. Otherwise, the reading assignments will depend on how far we get in class.
Please refer to your letter for all activities. Tuesday we have the picnic with our Kindergarten buddies from 11-1 at the rec center. Remember your food item to share and your permission slip. Jog-a-thon Wednesday AM Thursday afternoon math placement exam for all 8th graders.
Friday Breakfast and graduation practice. School ends for 8th graders at 11:30. Be at church by 5:15 for graduation picture. Don't be late please.
Book Report for 4th quarter: The students will have a reading log which they received several weeks ago. They are to read 800 pages from books of their choice. The pages must be recorded and a parent must sign off on the log. Due Date June 1st. no excuses!
Speeches: The students did a nice job with the speeches. Congrats to John 1st place!
This is your final year at St. Theresa. Make it your best! Graduation is Friday, June 5th only 5 days away!
