Wednesday- Spelling test 30/ vocab 28,29,30 -- VOCAB BOOK IS COMPLETE
Thursday-- Own book
Friday-- NO SCHOOL FOR 8TH GRADE
MONDAY-- LAST DAY FOR POINTS!!!
TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY-- NO SCHOOL
THURSDAY-- GRADUATION
70% of your grade is based on getting your point total (40%) and the quiz score you receive on the material you have read.
5% is on the literacy test that you will take on the class book we read together. There will be one book each quarter.
15% is on the vocabulary test, and 10% of the weekly spelling test.
1st quarter --All Quiet on the Western Front
2nd Quarter--In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson
3rd Quarter --Hound of the Baskervilles
4th Quarter -- The Lottery Rose
Students who have read these books previously for AR will have those results removed from their records so that they can retake the test.
For some 2nd and 3rd Quarter books, we have film clips and other guides to help you understand the material better.
