Monday, September 7: Labor Day - No School

Tuesday, September 8:
In Class: Warm ups. Complete Virus ADI with groups and in notebook. Introduce blood pressure/homeostasis lab procedure.
Homework: Watch 31-II video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook.

Wednesday, September 9: Early release!
In Class: Warm ups. Work on blood pressure/homeostasis lab.
Homework: Study for Unit 8 MCQ test.

Thursday, September 10:
In Class: Warm ups. Complete the blood pressure/homeostasis lab.
Homework: Complete the Unit 8 Progress Check on AP Classroom for extra credit on the Unit 8 MCQ test. Finish questions on the blood pressure/homeostasis lab - due Monday.

Friday, September 11:
In Class: Wonders/Notebooks due. Take the Unit 8 MCQ exam.
Homework: Watch 2 video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook. Work on Unit 1 Wonders. Blood pressure/homeostasis lab due Monday.

Monday, September 14:
In Class: Blood pressure lab due. Warm ups. Complete the building and bonding atoms activity in class. Begin working on water modeling.
Homework: Watch the Error Bars video.

Tuesday, September 15:
In Class: Blood Pressure lab GRACE. Warm ups. Complete the Water Modeling activity. Paste in notebook for notebook check. Begin working on the Water Properties lab with drops on a penny.
Homework: Complete the Water Properties Lab Pre-Quiz (found below) using the packet.

Wednesday, September 16: Mrs. Gilbertson substitute.
In Class: Warm ups. Work on Water Properties Lab.
Homework: Watch 3-I video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook.

Thursday, September 17:
In Class: Warm ups. Complete the Water Properties lab. Abe will teach about how to complete the error bars work.
Homework: Watch 3-II video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook.

Friday, September 18:
In Class: Warm ups. Complete the POGIL on Protein Structure. Begin classifying cards in the Classifying Organic Molecules activity.
Homework: Water Properties lab and Protein POGIL due Monday. Work on Unit 1 Wonders.

Monday, August 31:
In Class: Lab 12 GRACE. Warm ups. Complete the Simpson's Biodiversity activity in your notebook.
Homework: CER pictures due tonight. Work on Unit 8 Wonders.

Tuesday, September 1:
In Class: Warm ups. Complete the Oh Deer activity and worksheet. See assigned classmates for CER activity.
Homework: Watch videos to prepare for mycorrhizae case study. Nutrient Cycle projects due tomorrow. FRQs due tomorrow via GC; printed in class Thursday. Classmates' CERs due Friday via GC. Oh Deer worksheet due Friday, if not done in class.

Wednesday, September 2:
In Class: Nutrient Cycles projects due. Warm ups. Unit 8 Top Tens. Complete the mycorrhizae case study in notebook.
Homework: FRQs due tonight via GC and printed in class tomorrow. Classmates' CERs due Friday, along with Oh Deer worksheet and graph.

Thursday, September 3:
In Class: Warm ups. Grade FRQs in class. Work on Oh Deer or classmates' CERs. Learn about test info, if not done already.
Homework: Watch 1-I video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook. Record information about nutrient cycles in notebook. Classmates' CERs due tomorrow via GC.

Friday, September 4:
In Class: Classmates' CERs are due. Warm ups. Discuss Unit 1 Wonders. Complete the Scientific Process activity in your notebook.
Homework: Be sure you record information about other cycles in your notebook. Watch CER evidence video and 1-II video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook. Read the "Are Viruses Alive" article. Work on Unit 8 Wonders.
