CLASSROOM NEWS
***Reading***
We will still be focusing on report form in reading. We will also be working on fact and opinion. Students will identify signal words to identify opinions used in text.
+++Language Arts+++
Students will organize and write a classificatory paper about the things they like and dislike about Saturdays. We will also be reviewing all four modes of writing that will be covered on the TAAS test. Students will be using their checks and dashes to find grammar mistakes in passages as well as editing their own writing assignments. Homework will be given to review each grammar objective.
SCHOOL NEWS
Please take time to review homework with your child. It is important that students read every night as well.
