Mission Statement
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School is dedicated to building up the Body of Christ by fostering the spiritual growth of our students in an emotionally safe and academically sound environment. Dear Parents,
Welcome to Catholic Schools Week. It was nice to see many of you this weekend at the open house. There are all kinds of activities planned for the week so make sure you check the flyer and the webpage for all the themed days. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your child!
Monday - Pajama Day
Tuesday - Red, White and Blue Day
Wednesday - Honor our Nation - Diocesan Mass
Thursday - Teachers and Staff & Jamba Juice Day
Friday - Honoring our Students - Rainbow Day - Spirit Rally at 12:00 in the gym.
This week in Superkids we will be finishing unit 10, contractions. Our spelling words do not have memory words but some are tricky (trickers). The test is this Thursday, February 2nd.
For Homework: .
• Write the following sentences 3 times each and practice the spelling words. I haven't set up the tent. Couldn't you help me?
•Spelling words: aren't, couldn't, didn't, hasn't, haven't, isn't, wasn't, weren't, wouldn't
Trickers: can't, don't, won't
•Play the unit 10 fun game below to help you practice
• Go Math workbook page
• Practice Math Facts flash cards 10 minutes everyday
Reminders
- All homework and reading logs are due Thursday.
- Please label all clothing and water bottles with your child’s name.
- We will have daily snack, including early dismissal Fridays, so please send a healthy snack to school. Only water with snack so please no juice boxes.
- Please send a note if you are changing your child's dismissal procedure.
