Research demonstrates that the most effective way to ensure that students can both employ and enjoy a foreign language is with a content-rich environment that challenges them to use the language. Technology can help by bringing the world closer to our students. Setting up a class "e-pal" with a native speaker or language class would create an opportunity for students to communicate in a meaningful and authentic manner. The acquisition of two LCD projectors for our teacher-team would enable all students in each classroom to participate in a class e-mail simultaneously, thus engaging and supporting all students in learning.
