3. Introduction , remember to utilise as much information that you included in your seminar presentation
4. Theoretical discussion/context. In here you should consider: Do you know and understand what other sociologists have said about this topic; and how their studies and findings relate to your project. This will involve reading around those studies and providing summaries of them. This context partly theoretical what have different perspectives said about your topic area? Again focus on the theoretical evaluations you used in your seminar presentations. In the context you could include an empirical analysis. Finally show you can evaluate, criticise (positively and negatively) as you go along.
5. Hypothesis (investigative aim) you may have already done this prior to your context discussion. Identify any relationships in it and justify them.
6. Methodology, why have you chosen a particular method? Why is it better than any other? Is it quantitative, qualitative, objective, replicable, reliable etc;
7. Participants, who are you going to investigate?
8. Ethics, consider the involvement of yourself and your subjects.
9. Evaluation, on a balance of the work how do you see your research moving?
10. Bibliography, references
11. Appendix i.e. tables, graphs, sample of questionnaire
