The 7th and 8th graders in this elective will be learning about the iLife series of Mac applications, along with Inspiration, a graphic organizer, Photoshop, digital imaging software, and PowerPoint, the presentation software in Microsoft Office. We'll be using digital cameras and digital video cameras as we learn about iPhoto and iMovie. The students will also create original music using the GarageBand software to accompany the slideshows and movies that they produce in class. The final project will be a Digital Story presentation, which is a personal narrative incorporating all the elements they have learned during the semester. I'll be posting assignments and due dates on this webpage, so be sure to check often for updates.
