Adopt-A-Character Project
Students should choose a character from the list posted in class.
Directions:
1. Choose a character from the list posted in class.
2. Using your notes on characterization, apply the terms to the character that was chosen.
3. The presentation may be completed on powerpointe or poster board.
4. Each term in characterization should be assessed towards your character. If the term applies to your character, then you should discuss briefly why.
5. Use information from the novel to help prove that the character is in fact that term (i.e. flat character, major character, protagonist, direct characterization etc.)
6. Your slides should not be more then ten for the powerpointe presentation. If you use a poster board, then one or two should be enough.
7. You may decorate your presentation with pictures that correlate with your character.
*Make sure that you attempt to use each term for your character in order to ensure that you do not omit the correct answer. If you are sure that the term does not fit, then do not include it in your presentation.
