Locate Keywords on a Web Page Using the "Find Function" in your Browser 1. From the menu bar click EDIT and select FIND (on this page). A small window will appear. 2. Move the window to the top of your screen. 3. Type in word you wish to find on page. 4. Choose "up" or "down" (usually down the page). 5. Click on "Find Next" again to see the word again. Note: word stem. When you search for a "word," the find feature will locate word stems. For example, if you want to locate the word "teen" on a web page using the Find Feature of the browser, it will locate: Teen, teens, teenager, teenage. "Search string not found" means you are at the end of the web page. You can search forward and backward on a page. If you wish to find a second word on the same page, you may have to close site, open again, then repeat "Find Function."
