advanced021102 Happy Valentines Week
Welcome students
Happy Valentines Week!  Will you be my valentine? Read about the history of Valentine's Day. Read about how romance was different in Victorian times (the 19th century). Write an essay comparing  romance in your country to romance in the USA. Do you have a romantic story that you can share with the world? Write it on the internet. Read what other people have written. Read a very romantic story about the nature of true love. For the adventureous, sign up for a free trial at an online dating service. You have to fill in a lot of personal information (you can lie), and that can be good language practice. Once you get in, read how some other people answer questions about themselves such as "Describe the type of person you might be interested in meeting (either romantically or platonically). What traits do you find attractive?"

'Mr. Fallible is more appealing than Prince Charming these days. I tend to get along very well with goofy, intelligent men. Wit, warmth, and lack of pretension go a long way with me. Hopefully, you take care of yourself, have
diverse interests and are close to your family and friends.
You're happy with yourself and your life, no need to impress anyone with your material possessions because you have such a stunning personality.'
To read other's profiles click on "match", then the name and then scroll down.
