Welcome to our Quia webpage! We will be updating this site with what we are studying as well as what will be going on in first grade.
Spring/Easter Celebration
The first grade teachers are planning a fun spring/Easter celebration on Thursday, April 5. We will be doing activities in our room and outside together. We are asking that the kids DO NOT wear flip-flops on this day since we will be doing some relay races outside. We're looking forward to a fun day!
Spring Break
Spring Break this year will be April 6-10 (Friday, Monday and Tuesday). Enjoy some relaxing time with your family!
Relay for Life Walk
The HPES Relay for Life Walk is scheduled for April 27. Purple forms have already gone home in Tuesday folders for you to begin getting your sponsors. If you need another form, ask your teacher.
Looking Ahead: Field Day
Mark your calendars for this year's PTA sponsored Field Day! It will be May 22. You will be seeing information coming home soon about this exciting day!
Last Day of School
It's hard to believe that we are in the final 7 weeks of school! The last day of school is scheduled for May 24th. Students will get out 2 hours early on this day.

Math: 1:00-1:50
Science/Social Studies: 1:50-2:20
Recess: 2:20-2:40
