Dear First Graders,
March is here and we are in the season of Lent. We are getting ready to celebrate Jesus' death and Resurrection. We must remember all that Jesus has done for us and we must remember our Baptism. Please be sure to have a quiet time each day to think about how much Jesus loves you and to talk to Jesus in your heart.
Your first animal report will be due March 23rd. You will be writing about an animal with fur. Please be sure to write using complete sentences and to use capital letters and periods. Make sure your report is neat, answer all the questions and be sure to color the picture of your animal. I know that you will do a wonderful job with these reports. You may borrow an animal card from our "lending animal card library" but please remember to return the card when you have completed your report.
Practice counting coins, pennies, nickels and dimes. Also, work with your addition and subtraction facts. You must memorize them!
