This is Ahmad J. Redman reporting from Tite Ta Def University. I am going to tell you about my trip to Cambodia. Cambodia is a small country located on the southern part of Asia, south from Laos, East from Thailand, west from Vietnam, and north of Malaysia. It was a 31-hour trip from San Diego, California to Kratie, Cambodia. The cost for the flight was about 1500 dollars it is worth it. When I arrived I asked some people about their land, religion, their leaders, culture, food, government, and also I asked if they have any landmarks. The first thing I went to talk with a group of people I sat down with them and asked them this question, “What kind of government do you have?” The answer was a “constitutional monarchy.” In other words it is a form of Democracy. A Democracy is a government were the people chose there leaders, rules, and laws. After that, they told me that the leader of the country was Prime Minister Hun Sen. And that you have to be at least 18 years of age to vote. Later I asked them “What was the most popular religion?” and they answered The Theravada Buddhists. I Asked, “How did they pray?” Where did they pray?” What kind of practices do they do?” Do you use any special objects or symbols?”
