Class Objectives
1-Identify the causes of the Civil War
2-Identify and explain events that occurred during the Civil War and analyze the effects of the war
3-Analyze the effects of Reconstruction on the US
4-Analyze the growth of the West in the US
5-Identify the effects of the Industrial Revolution on the US
The above objectives will be met over a nine-week period ending May 23. Students will be expected to do what is right in class and do their best to learn about the stated objectives. Students will be evaluated on their progress by means of tests that could be any or all of the following;
Multiple Choice
Essay
Socratic Seminar
Oral
T-F
Fill in the Blank
The students are expected to bring the book entitled "The Americans" to class, along with a pencil and folder every day.
