Class Objectives
1-Describe events that helped the US to become a World Power
2-Analyze and explain reasons for, and events during WWI
3-Analyze reasons for, events during, and the effects of the Great Depression
4-Identify and describe reasons for, events during and the effects of WWII
5-Identify events that followed WWII to the present and their effects on the US
The above objectives will be met over a nine-week period ending December 21. Students will be expected to do what is right in class and do their best to learn about the stated objectives. Students will be evaluated on their progress by means of tests that could be any or all of the following;

Essay
Socratic Seminar
Oral
T-F
Fill in the Blank
The students are expected to bring the book entitled "The Americans" to class, along with a pencil and folder every day.
