Throughout the course of the semester our Ethnic Studies class has researched many aspects of ethnic and cultural studies, including a research assignment on our own background. We learned about a number of cultures and how they impact the way in which we live today. I have created this website as a resource site for the hip-hop culture. This website contains significant information about the origin and influences on rap and hip-hop music. My website will teach someone with little to no knowlege of this music to understand the purpose, and basic background information.
I have a series of web links listed to guide the reader to useful information on these topics. There are ten links, along with descriptions for each link to guide the reader through the world of hip-hop. Within these links there will be a site containing historical information, lyric information, news articles, and biographies on various rap and hip-hop artists. With all of this information at your fingertips you will have no problem unscrambling some terms for me in my Quia game, All Mixed Up. Once you are done with the word scramble then you can test your knowledge in my True or False Quia quiz. Both the game and the quiz have a total of ten questions, I hope you find this website resourceful as well as entertaining.
