Policies

• Remember to sign up in pencil for a computer, for video viewing, for testing, and/or for using the +Medic CD-ROM. For computer training, please be sure to include the course you are taking, so we can insure you are scheduled at a computer that has your particular program if we must make adjustments.
  
• Remember to sign out and record your hours for each course you are taking on the attendance sheet before you leave. Recording attendance is mandatory for us to be able to award course credit for our students.
  
• The instructors are here to assist you as you need additional help with your training or if you run into any problems. Let an instructor know as you need assistance.
  
• Remember to call us if you find you cannot attend your scheduled training. We become concerned when students fail to show up and don’t call us! Additionally, we must report absences to the counselors of students who are sponsored through government programs or other funding sources.
  
• Since so many people are taking the same courses as you are taking, remember to put your name on your textbooks and your diskettes. If you accidentally leave your materials, you will be able to find them quickly and easily in the pile of unnamed materials!
  
• Turn off your cell phone while in the Learning Curve Plus, or have your cell phone to notify you via the “vibrate” setting. Cell phone conversations are not permitted in the testing area, computer lab, or classroom.
  
• Keep food and beverages in the break room for consumption. Only water in a covered container can be taken to any other part of the Learning Curve Plus facility.
  
• Remember while you are eating lunch, other people are training or testing. Be aware of noise levels, so that other individuals can effectively concentrate and learn!
  
• Feel free to get up at anytime to get water, go to the bathroom, or eat, but do not disturb other students as you move around.
  
• Remember that we are open on Saturdays.
