Over the next two weeks we will be reviewing Biology and IPC concepts for your Science TAKS exam. This certainly is not the most interesting assignment but consider it as part of your review for your final IPC exam in this course.

Why do I need to try when the 10th grade Science TAKS does not really count for me?
1. it counts for your school
2. If you fail you will be put in a TAKS prep class and will have to give up an elective
3. If you pass you will be able to attend the TAKS party for Mrs. Lazare's IPC class-Date to be determined
4. If you pass, you will recieve extra credit on your final exam and an easier version of the final exam-Points to be determined
5. If you are commended, you will receive additional extra credit on your final exam -Points to be determined
6. These assignments will be taken for a grade, so try your best. This should be a time when you can raise your grade for the 5th 6 weeks
7. There will be many times in your life that you may not want to do something, but that does not mean that you shouldn't try your best. Not giving it your best may come back and haunt you in the future

Assignment #1: DUE Monday April 20th morning at 9AM.
GRADE: You will be in the library all week working on the quizzes. Finish for homework over the weekend. You will receive a DAILY PARTICIPATION grade in the library. You will recieve a major grade on Monday once have submitted all quizzes. This grade will go on the 5th 6 weeks. Nice opportunity to raise this 5 weeks grade.

2. Take all 6 quizzes listed below***** NOTE: Each time you open the quiz, the program records it as an attempt. You may open the quiz a maximum of 2 times. You must submit your answers in one of these two times. if you open the quiz 2 times and do not submit your answer it will be recorded as a zero. So, make sure you have enough time to finish a quiz before you start it!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. May use textbook or links listed below. May also use TAKS equation sheet and periodic table. May work with the person next to you. If you are only copying or not working you will you will be reassigned to a new computer and will work alone.

4. Once you have completed all quizzes, you must print out your results and turn into class on Monday
