Hello, welcome our class website! October 10-17, 2005
I will continue to send home the weekly newsletter in the Tuesday folders. This is a great site for links to instructional games and activities.
Math - Unit 2 test will be October 13. Nightly homework will reflect subjects covered on the test.
Science - We are classifying living things. We look for similarities and differences in a set of objects. Then group them according to those similarities and differences.
Social Studies - We are in Jamestown reading about the hardships the settlers faced, to tobacco grown by the settlers and the impact of women to the settlement.
Reading - Please monitor your child's AR points as the AR tests come home in Tuesday folders.
Writing- We are reviewing identifying appropriate resources for various purposes.
Please be aware that tests cover more curriculum than quizzes and students should begin studying for tests 2-3 days before the test is given. This website will coincide with the newsletter that goes home in the Tuesday folder. Don't forget to play Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
