The students in Mrs. Smith's class have been studying animals. We particiated in a simulation project about zoos. We learned about animals, animal care, habitats, the roles of a zoo keeper and curator. We made zoo cages with small stuffed animals and transformed our cages into displays which reflected the habitat that each animal belongs in. As a culminating experience, we had a field trip to the zoo and saw first hand the things we had learned about in class. This web page is designed to enrich and assess the student's knowledge of animals, their classification and some facts about animals.
