Welcome to the Office at Banbury Crossroads School!

Greetings from the office!

We wish all teachers, students, and parents a very happy and safe summer holiday.  As I write, I hope you all are feeling rested, rejuevenated, and excited about the upcoming new school year!

First of all, I am delighted to announce the healthy and safe arrival of Tenneil Mullin's new baby     ... Her name is Sophie!  Tenneil was a teacher at our school not long ago, and over the past year we have been fortunate to have her here as a school philosophy advisor and teacher mentor.   Congratulations go out to Tenneil and family!!!!!

I am sad to announce the departure of Rosie Richardson from the office administration, as she is retiring this summer to Victoria Island.  Although this is wonderful for Rosie, and we all wish her all the very best, she will be deeply missed...  I think she will be getting many emails from this office!!

On a more positive note, I am happy to welcome Sandy Newman to our school to work in the office.  Sandy has worked in schools for quite some time, so she will bring great wisdom and enthusiasm here.  She is taking on Rosie's job and is "on board" as I write this note!  Welcome to our school Sandy!!  Sandy will be introducing herself on this site in the not too distant future.

I am also sad to announce that our wonderful teacher, Cristina Atanasiu, will be away from our school for the upcoming school year...  We all are excited for her though as well, and we wish her all the very best, as she is teaching overseas in an international school.  This will be a great experience for Cristina! ... Happy trails until we see you again!...

We will be informing you of a few new staff members in September.  If you want information before this time, re: staffing, please call the school.  We do have extremely great news in the staffing category, in that Karen Harrison will be returning here as vice- principal this September!!!! She will be here on a part-time basis, and we really look forward to having her back!

School starts on Wednesday,September 6th this year.  I have included a calendar for the 2006-2007 school year.  If you want to order books before September or register, I will be here in the office before July 31st and after August 11th.   Diane Swiatek, our principal, will be available at the school on some of these days that I am on holidays.

If you have any questions, or if you need more information about our school, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Anne Bransby-Williams
Office Administrator
