Make notes for each slide in the ppt handout pkt, pg 1-4. These notes should be evidence of your comprehension. Look up words that you don't know. 2. Begin preparing for next week's "disaster" report by researching the details of a natural disaster that occurred somewhere in the world. You should research such things as: date of event, location, damage, casualties, specific details (such as areas destroyed, size of waves- tsunami, magnitude, speed of winds, etc. whatever applies to your disaster) 10/19 1. Complete #4, pg.50 of Doraemon Dokodemo Nihongo (hereafter to be called DDN). 2. Finish filling in the vocab. chart on pg. 48 of DDN. Also, write the English meaning of vocab. 1-16 on the same page. 3. Complete 災害/さいがい/disaster research for this Friday. You can write all of the info down in your notebook. 10/21 Study, review the vocabulary from the ppt slides and Doraemon pkt. There will be a test (Japanese to English meaning) next Tues. Bring disaster research data to class Friday. 10/23 The vocabulary test is postponed until Mon.11/2. Students who did not have their saigai (disaster) data today who fail to bring it to class on Tuesday will lose 10 points. 10/27 1. I forgot to give you the list in class on Wed. so I will pass those out tomorrow. Actually, Friday will be the test, since we don't have class on Thursday.
