APPLICATION LETTER

Berkmar High School
405 Pleasant Hill Rd
Lilburn, GA 30078
March 20, 2006

Mr. Ken Johnson
Principal of Berkmar

Dear Mr. Johnson:

I am writing to apply for the cafeteria job advertised in The Atlanta Journal.  I am a high school student and will be graduating next year.  In addition, I have the skills and experience you need in the school cafeteria.
Recently, I have been helping my mother in our family restaurant.  I have also assisted our cook in the kitchen.  Moreover, I have been serving as a waiter (a boy)/ a waitress.  Therefore, I have acquired the secret of serving the public.  I am hard-working, flexible and dependable.  If you hire me, I will do my best to increase productivity in the cafeteria.
Thank you for accepting my application, and I look forward to working for you.

Sincerely,
Josephine Haba
