Education & disadvantage

Work, work!
Do you feel hard done by the education system or do you feel it has served you very well? You are a college student so you must've benefited in some way from it. Why is that some people excel and others and can complete 11 years of full time education and leave not knowing how to adequately read, write or apply numeracy skills? In this section of your course we will examine several factors that concern the individual and their educational relationship in society.

AQA  (your exam board) requires that you gain and demonstrate an understanding of the following issues:

  • bullet point one...
  • bullet point two...
  • bullet point three...
  • bullet point four...
  • bullet point five...

You have covered your family module so begin to draw links with the sociological foundations that you have already gained!
