We are watching the movie, "JURRASIC PARK". This really is a terrific movie for 2 reasons: first, it introduces the DNA molecule and explains its structure; second, it poses the question about scientists doing what they can do as opposed to what they should do. This is a great way to begin talking about DNA, genes, inheritance, cloning, and stem-cell research......all topics we will be considering after the winter break.
