Wild about Teaching, Miss Bean :) A WORD FROM MISS BEAN: This is my fifth year to teach and my fifth year to teach at Northwest Heights. Teaching is my passion and I thoroughly enjoy every student in my classroom. Sometimes I think that I learn more than them! I cannot think of another profession that provides the challenges and rewards of teaching. Every day provides new situations and new opportunities to learn. MY FAMILY: My parents still live in my hometown of Broken Bow. I still maintain a very close bond with my immediate family. My little sister April is a junior at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she is majoring in History. My older sister, Lori, and her husband, Brad, live in Madill. Lori is a high school English teacher at Madill High School. My niece, Grace, is 4 and started Pre-K this year. Her sister, Claire, is 1. Although the students in my classroom are not my real kids, they quickly become part of my family unit and stay there even after they move on to other classrooms and teachers. I delight in return visits from my kids. My INTERESTS: My favorite colors are pink and purple. The children in my classroom soon come to realize that I LOVE sparkly things! My hobbies include reading, writing, and spending time with my friends and family. Again, thank you for visiting our page. I hope that you have become more familiar with our classroom and myself in the process. Please let me know if you have any comments or questions!
