Hug a Veteran today!

We are still having issues with students who won't bring their textbooks to class.  You are required to bring the book and have it on your desk.  You are not allowed to do work for another class or sleep during class.  You will be asked to leave and marked absent for any of the reasons which I listed on your Course Outline.  I gave this document out on the first day, and it clearly describes those reasons for which you will be asked to leave class.  If you have any questions, please contact me by e-mail.

Today, I returned the Human Inheritance chart to the MW 12:00 class, but I didn't have all of the papers.  Turns out they were mixed in with the TTh papers.  Here are the names of the students that should have gotten their papers back:
Jennifer Brooks, Antoine Butler, Lakesha Griffin-Davis, Sarah Monosso, Chelsea Perryman, Caesar Sellers, Paige Slaughter, Chase Thweatt, Jeanie Tunley, and Quita Wade.

After each exam, I post the Honor Roll here.  These are the names of students who have a ladybug on their exam paper because they made an A or B.
I forgot to post the Exam 3 Honor Roll.  I will get around to it.
This is the list for Exam 4:

There will be a "Quia bonus question" for each exam.  This question will be worth 3 points and you will need to write the answer on your scan-tron.  Check back here closer to exam day for your Exam 5 Quia bonus.
You need to know the answer to this question on exam day in order to get the 3 points.
Please don't share this information with other students.  Let them check for themselves!

If you miss class, e-mail me or ask another student what you missed.  Some of the topics discussed in class are not in the textbook.  If you miss a day, please get the notes from someone who was present.

All classes:  Please get your own private e-mail account.  Don't share with anyone.  If you don't have a private account, go to www.yahoo.com and sign up for one.  Then, send a message to my home e-mail address:  bybuggnw@bellsouth.net

My Principles of Biology I Lab Sections:
Please note that I teach two sections of BIO 1111 - Principles of Biology I Lab - Tue 1-2:50 and Tue 3-4:50 in Senatobia.  There are 18 sections of BIO 1111 on the main campus, and makeup information is on the back of your lab schedule.
BIO 1111:
